Did you know now that I started on the media as a culinary writer not as a chef?

 

Since 1997, I've has been producing, writing, editing and covering culinary, travel and social events for a number of magazines, newspapers and blogs. Caras magazine (Televisa publishing -no longer in print) gave me my first break. Following came Vea, and Buena Vida Magazines,  El Nuevo Dia and San Juan Star newspapers. I've also written stories for soflo.com, Univision, Telemundo Network and WIPR (PBS station) and Cooking Light magazine among many others

 

My most memorable story was interviewing renown chef Emeril Lagasse for Buena Vida magazine on his last visit to Puerto Rico. It was a treat for me to talk and interview a living legend and one of my favorite chefs. To say that I was star-struck is an understatement
